Amazon? Yes, maybe...but the much more charming and exciting way to browse and find a really good book that's perfect for you is at your local bookstore. Maybe you also have a beautiful bookstore just around the corner (Oh! Do you remeber "The Shop around the corner" Bookshop from "You've got mail"?- Sooo charming!). So beautiful that for a visit it is not only worth getting out of the house, it's worth getting out of the
country. Whether you need a new hardcover or not.

Oh ich liebe Buchläden, und daher ein ganz toller Post für mich! Da gibt es auch einen Bildband, kennst du den? Heißt glaube ich "Die schönsten Buchläden der Welt" (tendenziell aber auf englisch).
AntwortenLöschenIch war im Februar in Porto und dort war auch ein ganz wunderschöner, winzig kleiner Buchladen, mit Holzvertäfelten Decken etc - ein Traum ;-)

AntwortenLöschenThere's a chain in Sweden where they combine cafés with bookstores - although it's a chain, the atmosphere is nice and browsing through several books that could be mine while enjoying coffee is pretty close to my personal heaven.
